  1. Though hardly Communist, I was considered an oddity in the Business School at Auburn University. I was thrilled when students would say to me, “I never had a professor like you before.” I wasn’t faking it, but I would in order to break the binds that enclose some of my students’ minds. In fact, it never occured to me that I was being radical. I did not consider any of my comments particularly radical. They were new to many of my students however. Incidentally my classes were always over subscribed, and students took multiple classes from me
